How Aries Ruins their Relationships...

Aries ruin relationships by expecting you to live by their rules, while they live without any rules. They have no patience for imperfection in others, but can't bear to be criticized themselves. They act as though they are flawless, but you soon realize that they expect you to be the perfect one, and they somehow have the right to criticize you when you aren't. Aries have a way of expecting a lot from other people while they assume they're exempt from any expectations. They spend a lot of time touting about their success while you're doing all of the work. Then they will demand that you, and everyone else in the world who is working harder than them, do everything perfectly. You can ruin their day if you do something wrong or let them down. On top of that, they can have a furious temper. They truly believe it's okay to scream insults at you because you messed up. When you confront them about their imperfections, they'll say it's everyone else's fault. Or at best, they'll say they just need more time, when they really don't seem to be trying very hard at it in the first place.

How Taurus Ruins their Relationships...

Taurus is most likely to ruin a relationship by boring you to death. Taurus is all too happy and content to just sit, feel comfortable and go through the same routine day after day. This is great for them because it really doesn't take much to make them happy. But for you, it can be like re-living the same day over and over, and it can drive the more active signs crazy. If Taurus doesn't drive you away with sheer boredom, they can also do it by treating you like a child. They have a way of always looking out for everyone's needs, which is kind and helpful, but they can overdo it and become condescending and overly protective about being careful and safe about everything. They speak to you as though they are the parent and you are the child who needs their constant care and protection. And if this doesn't end the relationship, Taurus has one more bad habit that may do the trick. They can be incredibly steadfast in their opinions about things, and they can't stop themselves from going on rants in order to convince everyone they are right. It's really preaching, and it's done in that same condescending way that they use to protect people. They don't realize how this drives people away from them and ruins their relationships.

Gemini's dry, overly-objective attitude removes any sense of human compassion in relationships. It's only the facts that matter and the other person's feeling are completely ignored. What's more, it seems like some Geminis constantly look for things other people do incorrectly so they can point them out and prove they are smarter and better, which can make the other person feel belittled. Gemini's need for freedom can also drive people away. Geminis aren't really in favor of committed relationships in the first place. So you are always on shaky ground with them. They put off any commitments as long as they can. Then, once they do commit, they have a way of keeping you at a distance. At best, this means they're always a bit offish and always running off to do their own thing. At worst, they are always flirting with other people and considering or pursing other options. If they decide to commit, then you have to deal with their biggest personality flaw which is basically a curt, ruthless and just plain rude way of constantly correcting people and assuming that they are basically stupid compared to them.

Cancers ruin relationships by making a huge deal out of everything that affects them in any way. And watch out, when their feelings are hurt, they can lash out with words that cut straight into your heart. They can really be punishing and mean when they want to be, and you never see it coming. Their feelings get hurt or they get offended by things that other people never even realize are offensive. Then, it can literally take years for them to get over it, and there are some things they will never get over. The pain lingers and lingers and they will remind you of it every time they get a chance. And this is really their better side. The worst is when they just shut down and decide to completely ignore you for days. The silent treatment is their other form of punishment. They dish out dirty looks that cut deep, and they have no intention of speaking to you because you aren't worthy. You hurt them, and now you must pay by being banished in a prison of guilt. This can be too much drama for a lot of people. Always having to worry about the next time you hurt them can simply drive you away.

How Leo Ruins their Relationships...

Leos make relationships so important that the relationship becomes an overwhelming responsibility that drives people away. They come on too strong! Leos love to be in love and will commit after one date. Suddenly, you are thrown into this wild romance, which seems great, but it has all of these rules and expectations. The Leo needs your whole world to revolve around them, because after all, they committed their whole world to you without hesitation. At least this is the deal they sell you on. In reality, they are such suckers for attention that they can't help but flirt or even cheat with other people, which you are never allowed to do. They have this one-way contract with rules they are allowed to break, but you are not. This is the worst case scenario of course. But even at their best, their expectations of your complete devotion to them and the relationship is enough to drive a lot people away. You always have to put them first, which is just too much for most people and ruins their relationships.

How Virgo Ruins their Relationships...

With a Virgo, your job is to take care of them and their job is to make sure you do it correctly! They can make you feel like your whole relationship is a job instead of a romance. Everything you do and say has to meet their standards. They aren't nice about it either. In their very calm, serious way, they will slowly explain to you why you aren't measuring up or meeting their needs. It can be anything from not making enough money, to not brushing your teeth correctly. Because, yes, even something like not taking care of your teeth can end up costing a lot of money in dental bills, money they have planned for something else. It isn't that they are worried about your well being. They're worried about their well being. Virgos have a way of making people feel used. They can make people feel they merely serve a purpose for them, and when that purpose isn't served, they can become ice cold and toss you aside. They feel like they are valuable and should be treated with the utmost respect, but yet, they rely on you to serve their needs. 

How Libra Ruins their Relationships...

Libras set the bar really high as far as standards for how they are treated, and they can be totally vain. They will always do their part and treat you very well, but you are sometimes left feeling like they only do it so you will give them the same exact treatment in return. Then, if you can't measure up, you can end up feeling really guilty or like you're just a jerk who doesn't know how to be in a relationship. It can feel like a huge responsibility you have to constantly think about. Whenever they do something for you, you have to remember to return the favor. You have to be polite. You have to think about them and include them. They can be very needy in terms of compliments and attention. They try really hard to look good and behave appropriately. If they don't receive enough feedback in the form of compliments and attention, they will simply move on to the next person who compliments them more. Aside from a heavy dose of vanity, they are really very good at being in relationships, but that is the whole problem. Other people aren't. So, being in a relationship with them can make you feel like you never measure up to their level.

Scorpios ruin relationships because they just can't trust you. They start relationships with the assumption that, in the end, they will be betrayed. Then they spend the entire relationship looking for the betrayal. What's worse, if they never actually see it happen, they have a tendency to create it in their own mind. If they see you look at someone for one second longer than they think seems usual, suddenly you had a whole affair with them. Then, you'll either have to spend the whole rest of the day picking apart the details of the affair that never even happened and explaining yourself to them, or they will just ignore you for the next month. They'll never forgive you either, and remember, it never even happened! Scorpios live in the darker side of life and tend to expect the worst. They are cautious to their own detriment and think that every little thing is evidence of some bigger scheme that will harm them in the end. They can ruin their relationships by over analyzing everything you think and do, and by taking everything too seriously and never trusting you.

Sagittarius is so concerned about getting their way that you never get yours. As a defense against you controlling them, they end up trying to control you. They are bossy. Paranoid about losing their freedom in relationships, they don't set out to be bossy, but it's impossible for them to avoid it. Because relationships are about sharing time and activities, they have to compromise on things, which freaks them out because they always feel like people are going to box them in, take away their freedom and tell them what to do. They can become so obsessed with the idea that you might smother them that they start to complain about anything you do or say that might even resemble an attempt to control them. Then, when they are spending time with you, you feel pressured to be exciting and keep their interest. Their ideas for fun can be a bit extreme, and if you don't keep up with them, they may call you boring. You have to be spontaneous, open and flexible or they will surely criticize you for being stuffy and too reserved. Don't give them limits, don't even restrict them in the slightest. If you do, they'll pick at you and complain about everything you say and do, or they'll just give up on you and leave. If you value freedom as much as they do, this works out great, but if you don't, this can ruin a relationship.

Capricorns can be overly serious, arrogant tyrants who think they're better than everyone else. You get the feeling that they're looking down on you and they see you as weak and frivolous. They expect everyone to live up to their standards of what they consider right and wrong. They expect everyone to join in whatever mission they're on and give their complete support to them, when they're the ones who act likeyou are lazy and worthless. Their ability to deprive themselves borders on insane, and in comparison, everyone else seems selfish. They have an arrogance that makes you feel childish and incapable. It's like they assume they can do everything better than you and that you will always need their help because you'll never succeed on your own. They can really be the most negative people you will ever deal with. Nothing is ever going to work. You're wasting time and money. What you want is stupid. There are more important things we should be concerned about. Being with a Capricorn can be like living with an overprotective parent who never thinks you're good enough. They treat people like children and don't know how to loosen up and have fun which ruins their relationships.

Aquarius can make you wonder if the relationship even exists, like they could take you or leave you. It seems so much like they wouldn't care if you left, that you want to leave just so you can see if you get a reaction out of them. They can be so dry, stiff and unemotional that you wonder if they really love you or if you just happen to spend a lot of time together so you call it love. Are they never jealous because they're secretly doing things they know you would be jealous about? The problem is that they are so emotionally ambiguous, distant and basically just blank that you never really have any idea where you stand. Do they love you or just like you? Would they care if you left? Would they care if you cheated on them right in front of them? Sometimes you want to piss them off just to get them to react to something. Aquarius ruins relationships by being confusing, cold and distant.

How Pisces Ruins their Relationships...

Being with a Pisces can be like being in a relationship with a hologram. You think they're with you, but they aren't. They're nice and agreeable one day and then missing the next. They can disappear in the middle of a conversation. You're talking, and they're looking at you, and slowly you realize you lost them. Their eyes glaze over and they're off in their own world of God knows what. They can be incredibly unreliable which makes you feel like you aren't important to them. When they finally turn up after they've been missing for a while, they'll give you a confusing story that doesn't make any sense and leaves you feeling like they did something terribly bad when it's really just that they are never willing to actually confront any issues or problems. They have no problem telling you what you do wrong, but if you try to tell them, they call you insensitive and rude. And don't ask them too many questions. They're entitled to their privacy. The problem is that their privacy makes you feel like you're in a relationship with a ghost. Who are they? What are they always hiding? Their need for privacy and their preference for sliding away from the heavy parts of relationships can seem dishonest and uncaring. They ruin relationships by being evasive at best and absent at worst.
